Description
A military ball was the finest duty a bandsman could have. Not only to show off a good band book repertoire, or playing ability, but to see some of the finer side of life left behind. Pretty ball gowns, good food, perhaps an opportunity to dance with a lovely lady made the soldier’s life a little more enjoyable and memorable. Included here are some of the finest dance tunes of every variety – about 75 minutes worth of two-steps, polkas, schottisches, reels, jigs, and of course waltzes. As a part of the performance, we include a few vocals for you to relax and catch your breath. Enjoy!!
