Long Description: Rotary valve bell front trumpet with German silver body and brass bell. In Bb with extra slide and crook down to G tuning. Side action with three string-action rotary valves. Original box case with wool "gig bag" and mouthpiece pouch, mute, extra slide, crooks, mouthpiece, and drum style canteen (6 1/2" by 1 1/2 ", galvanized tin, soldered side loops, hand sewed linen strap, cork stopper). Marked H. W. Moennig, New York. Manufactured 1857 - 1883. Donated to the Foundation by Ron Offutt, North Haven, CT
