Long Description: Unmarked over-the-shoulder Bb cornet in brass with nickel silver trim - probably made in Europe 3rd quarter 19th century. Top-mounted European mechanical rotary valves. Original fitted box case and mouthpiece. Bell has a machine-threaded ferrule and is removable. Maintained in the collection as a memorial to Norman Pement
