Long Description: Nickel silver with gold trim circular Eb cornet. Manufactured by Emery A. Paine, Woonsocket, RI circa 1855. Top-mounted American rotary valves, string action. Original case, mouthpiece, and crooks down to Bb. Inscribed on gold oval plate: "Made for Henry F. Rumble by Emery A. Paine, Woonsocket, RI". A second, engraved presentation below the plate reads: "W.B.L. July 3, 1876". Maintained in the collection as a memorial to Merlin Jones.
