Long Description: 1/6 plate tintype. Unidentified Federal bearded soldier wearing kepi and frock coat. Holding an over-the-shoulder cornet with rotary valves. Painted camp scene backdrop. Damage to emulsion probably caused by glass breakage. No plate markings. Fancy gold mat. 1860's. Donated by Fred Benkovic, Brookfield, WI.
